The East Texas Jr. Gran Prix 2025 Circuit came to a close this weekend following the final tournament held at Jacksonville High School.
Congratulations our State Team Qualifiers and thanks to everyone who participated in the circuit. The final standings for each age division are available at the top of any of the past tournament home pages or HERE.
The top two players in each age division WHO ARE AGE ELIGIBLE as of September 1, 2025 to play in the division in which they qualified are being invited to join TEAM EAST TEXAS! The team will participate (as a TEAM of 16 players with 2 players from each age division boys & girls) in the 2025 Jr. Gran Prix State Team Championships at John Newcomb's Tennis Ranch (NEWKS) in New Braunfels on September 6-7.
The tentative (72 hour confirmation following Jacksonville's tournament) are shown below with the two AGE eligible players qualifying for the team highlighted in BOLD. If you have any questions about the final rankings or age eligibility please let me know. You can reveiw Jr. Gran Prix local guidelines and how points are awarded on the EastTexasTennis.
All players who are interested in joining our team (regardless of your point standings), should the top two players not be available, are encouraged to email NETXuspta@gmail.com as soon as possible to be placed on the alternate wait list. We will let you know following the qualifiers June 26 deposit deadline if we have a spot for you! Other teams may be looking for additional players and quite often East Texas players play for other teams as well.

The players in BOLD above are receiving an invitation to join TEAM EAST TEXAS. The deadline to register for TEAM EAST TEXAS is JULY 1st. Registration will be on EastTexasTennis.topdoglive.com for the players shown in bold and being invited to claim their spot on the team. Their is a non refundable $50 entry fee per player to participate in the State Tournament. The entry fee is being subsidized by our 2025 tournament sponsors and includes entry onto the team and either 4 or 5 team matches, an East Texas team t-shirt, a Jr. Gran Prix State Tournament T-shirt, goody bag for the weekend as well as (5) meals Saturday breakfast - Sunday Lunch all provided at the Ranch for all tournament players. There will also be a prize drill court for all tournament players on Saturday afternoon following our team matches.
All players on the team will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging to the ranch in New Braunfels. Players will be expected to be at the ranch by 8 a.m. Saturday, September 6. The last matches should finish around noon on Sunday.
Following the JULY 1st entry deadline we will begin filling all unclaimed positions on the team with other players. If you already know that you will not be able to join the team and represent East Texas in the tournament please let us know as soon as possible so we can fill your spot.
